Spring Awakening

Winner of eight Tony awards and four Olivier awards, Spring Awakening is a landmark musical

that fuses an incredible mix of rock music, sex and 1890s Germany.

Based on the 1891 much-censored play by Frank Wedekind, Spring Awakening follows a group

of adolescent boys and girls as they discover their sexuality. In a world where children are told

what to be and what to do, this celebration of rebellion is set against an electrifying score which

is both thrilling and heart-wrenching.

Join Cygnet Players as they present an age-old story which resonates with the current issues

around morality, sexual politics and empowerment.

Please note that Spring Awakening is not suitable for children under 13 due to sexual content

and language.
